940PC does not like hot loads = CorBon

Hi All,

I have a 940PC which is the revolver in .356TSW made by the Performance Center for Lew Horton. I also have a S&W 640-1 that was rechambered from .357 Magnum to .356TSW.

When firing Cor-Bon in both of these revolvers the cases swell so much that a wooden dowel is needed to tap on the ejector rod to get them out.

I recently ran some Federal 147 grain through both guns and they eject fine.

Can anyone recommend loading data to replicate the 147 grain Federal stuff?

Thanks,

GHEN

Gerard,
My PC 940 Specials had the same trouble.

I greatly reduced the problem by honing the chambers of the revolvers with a ceramic hone.

Additionally, I make sue the chambers do not get oiled
